| Did you really think I'd really let you read my journal?! Well, I was cleaning my bedroom as I was packing for school and I found my diary that dates all the way back to 1990 (2nd grade!). It's probably been over ten years since I've read this diary....I found some of my entries quite humorous, but that's probably only because it's me. Anyway, here are some of those journal entries in its entirety, spelling and grammar errors intact. All these events seem trivial now, but I bet at the time these were big events! I wonder if the things I journal about now will seem much less significant another 10 years from now, you think? |
| January 8, 1990: It was Elvis [Presley], Lisa, and my Birthday today, and Melinda gave me this Diary. From Lisa Betzer I got a ESPRIT bag. January 14: I got to help Karen Lee stir the greape Juice at charch. January 28: We wached the Super bowl football game on tv. The teams were th Denver Brancoles and the San Fransico 49ers. February 5: Nothing hapened to day. February 23: Dear Diary, I had a horible time finding the key to open my diary. March 20: We bot a movie camera. March 21: Our new camera did not work October 3: Dear Dairy, I hada terable Day. My mom forgot to geve me my lunch. The sprees Asley gave me dumped. I lost her for a friend. I got killed from my mom. My dad spanced me. And my mom laft at me when I was telling her my terable day. And my brother said that I gave him a headche. At the back of the diary, you can list an "Index of Important Events". My first entry for this list? Subject: Christmas Date: December 25th |
