Kevin slowly walked down the halls of the intensive care unit,his heart beating rapidly. It seemed like only seconds before he reached Brians room. He breathed a deep sigh,"Here goes nothin',"he whispered as he slowly turned the doornob,quietly stepped into the room. He turned around,gasping at what lay infront of his eyes. His younger cousin had more than just a heart monitor hooked up to him. Tears threatened to fall.He quickly turned from the room,and left.He shut the door lightly,leaning his head against the wall.He took a deep breath,as the tears quickly surfaced. "Oh God" he whispered under his breath.He leaned his head back,letting the tears fall endlessly.He sighed as he quickly stood up,wiping the tears from his face.He cleared his throat,turning around,grasping the doornob tightly,he drew a breath turning his hand,opening the door slowly.....
