CHAPTER 11
Kevin drew a deep breath as the familar smell of the hospital greeted him.With a shudder,he remembered all the times he smelled the same smell.All hospitals smelled the same to him. He remembered when he was eight,how he use to wander the halls,the same as he was doing now when a small and weak Brian was fighting for his life also in the intensive care unit."How ironic,"Kevin thought to himself."History is re-peating itself.Now instead of Bri being five,he's twenty five,I just hope that the outcome will be the same as before.He seems to always land up in intensive unit every ten years,it never fails." Kevin's mind began to wander back to the thoughts of fifteen year old Brian passing out at a family reunion,scaring the living daylights out of their entire family. The doctors diagnosis was he was under too much stress,and that's what caused his heart to act up. Kevin was quickly brought back to reality as a nurse softly touched him on the shoulder,and spoke,"You may see Mr.Littrell now." His eyes widened,what was he going to say to him.How could he tell Brian that he was the only one here,that everyone else was gone?"Oh God,"he whispered as he stood up with his heart beat quickly inside of his chest. He then left the waiting room making his way to where Brian was.
