Kevin's tiny voice filled the quiet room.  Ann's eyes shut, a smiled formed on her face. " Im thinking about your last birthday. Do you remember what your daddy gave you?" Ann asked her son. Kevin nodded his head, " He got me a fishing pole". Ann smiled at her thought, " You remember he was so excided. I think he was even more excided about the present than you were. He rushed to the lake to set it up" Kevin's eyes lit up. He giggled remembering the time. "Daddy was so funny" Ann laughed and padded her lap. Kevin crawled onto her lap, laying his head on her shoulder. "Is daddy gonna be ok?" The young boy asked. Ann tightened her grip on her son. She tubbed his back lightly. She sighed as she felt tears forming. "Daddy is going to be fine sweetie. The doctors just need to give him medicine to make him all better. But daddy loves you, loves you very much". Kevin nodded his head lightly, closing his eyes. Ann rubbed his back and hummed a son to her son.
