Reporters united around their house, camara's flashed, as reporters hoped to get a glimps of the devestated family inside the house. Inside, a family gathered around the living room, trying to block out the noise from outside from all the reporters. Their eyes brimmed with tears as they all watched the news breaking report shown on the television. The mother and father watched, as the news caster anouncend around the world that their child was kidnapped, no where to be found. Their hearts broke, as tears ran down their cheeks. The siblings all had tears forming in their eyes. The youngest boy fell back in the arms of the oldest son, tears falling from both their eyes. The oldest daughter held onto the youngest sister tightly as she watched the news report shown on tv, with tears forming her eyes once again.
The oldest son slowly pulled back from the embrace of his younger sibling, and stood. He took one last look at the television, he hung his head, walking out of the room. The older woman looked at her oldest son with sadness. She stood, leaving the tight grip of her husbands hand. She forced a tiny smile, as her husband nodded. She walked into the kitchen, stopping at the doorway, watching her eldest son lean against the counter, holding his head in his hands. He let a sob escape from him, as he slid down the wall. He held his knees tightly, buring his hand in his lap. The mother watched, seeing her grown son fall apart before her eyes. Tears slid down her face, as she walked up to him. He lifted his head at the sound of footsteps. Seeing his mother walking towards him, only made his eyes water more. She slid down the wall, opening her arms, watching him fall into her arms sobbing like a little boy. He clung onto his mother as tightly as he could. Her arms wrapped around him, holding him close. His loud sobs filled the room. She stroked his hair, as he cried. He broke the silence, " Momma..she's gone" Nick sobbed. She rubbed his back slowly, "I know sweetie, I know" Jane whispered. " How could she do this? I..I always thought she was smarter than that" Nick said, as he pulled back from his mothers embrace. Anger filled his body, as he rubbed his face. " I just dont understand why" he mumbled. He stood from floor, angry tears falling from his eyes, as he paced around the room. Jane stood, watched her son, who was just sobbing in her arms, now pacing around the room, foaming with anger. She sighed, walking up to him, pulling him into her embrace yet again. Nick tried to pull back, but she held onto him tighter. Nick's shoulders droped, as he looked at her, his eyes turning from angry to sadness in a matter of moments. His lip quivered,as tears started to form. " Momma..I miss her" he spoke in a whisper, as he fell into her arms. She held her son close, " I know honey, I miss her too" she confessed. The mother held her grown son in her arms, as they both cried. |
