| 2001 EDFL & EDNA GRAND FINALS Saturday September 8th Buln Buln will be represented in both the EDFL & EDNA Grand Finals on Saturday. We have a total of five teams playing. These being four football and one netball. The day begins nice and early with the fourths who start play at 9.15am. The boys come up against undefeated Longwarry, and should be pumped to try and beat them. It has been fairly close every time the two teams have met, and it should be a brilliant game to watch. I encourage everyone to come along early to support the boys. Good luck to them. The next game is the thirds which begins at 10.30am. They will be coming up against Poowong, who have sat second behind them on the ladder all year. This should be another good game, and hopefully Buln will come home with the goods. They will be taking on Nilma Darnum, who have sat above them on top of the ladder all year. The girls will be confident after defeating Nilma by just one goal to make the Grand Final two weeks ago. The Seniors take on Lang Lang, who after unexpectedly beat Neerim South to earn their right to play in the Grand Final. This will indeed be a hard match, with Lang Lang beating Buln Buln the only time they met earlier on in the year. But I think that Buln will have the edge, and will be pumped to beat Lang Lang.
