| COACHES 2002 FOOTBALL SENIORS The end of season 2001 brings about some changes to the coaching panel at Buln Buln. George Morgan will remain Senior coach after a successful 2001 season. Michael White will also stay on with an assistant role, as will Paul Rust. While a change brings some experience in with Michael Baker back into a coaching role at Buln Buln, as an assistant coach. I am sure that everyone hopes that this combination will bring another successful year to Buln Buln. Good luck with the job boys! Back to back flags! RESERVES Joe Meggetto is remaining in the role of Reserves Coach, hoping to go one step further this year, and win the flag. It is good to see that he has put the disapointment of last years Grand Final loss behind him, and is willing to have another crack at it this year. Good luck to the Reserves. THIRDS The Thirds this year will be coached by Tony Pollard, with Chris Bridger as his assistant. The thirds will also be anxious to repeat their performance of last year, and go for back to back flags. Although they have lost a few of their players to higher grades, there is also a few good players coming up from the Fourths. FOURTHS The Fourths will be taken on by Paul Pratt and Jamie Klason. I'm sure that "Pratty" and "Klackers" will be keen to help the boys make it all the way, as well as having a little bit of fun on the way!! FIFTHS The Fifths also have two new coaches. They are Brendan Taylor and Ken Nobelius. Both of these men are very experienced "ex-Buln-Footballers" ( both in retirement), and come with plenty of experience to offer the boys. NETBALL A GRADE Buln Buln A grade will be yet again coached by Brenda Whitehead. Brenda is avery experienced coach who does an excellent job with both the senior and junior netballers. A grade will be a few short this year, with two of their players overseas for part of the season, and another one pregnant. But I'm sure that will not stop them from being successful. There are plenty of talented netballers at Buln Buln, and there a few that will be able to play up to fill these positions. B GRADE B grade will also be coached by Brenda. The B grade girls went close last year, and will be itching to have another go this year. The B grade side is one of those sides that most of the girls have been playing together for a few years, and work extremely well together. C GRADE The C grade girls will also be aiming for back to back flags this year, after winning a thrilling Grand Final against Nilma Darnum in 2001. The C grade coaches this year are Caitlyn Kelly, Alison Ryrie, and Bronnie McDougal. It is good to see Bronnie still having an active part in the club even though she cannot play. Bronnie will be helping Caitlyn while Alison is away overseas. D GRADE The D grade girls have two new coaches. They are young, but very experienced players. They are Tammy Dawson and Joey Whitehead. Tammy and Joey are very enthusiastic about the year, and are hoping to do very well. D grade also has a few new recruits, the team looks very promising. E GRADE E grade will be coached this year by Sharon Kersten (aka Shack). Shack is another very experienced player that has returned to the club to both coach and play. She has coached at the club before, and will bring alot for the younger girls to learn. F GRADE The F troopers will be coached by Brenda as well. There was a huge amount of girls all wanting to play, and this is very promising for the club. Some of the girls are a little young, and are still welcome to train with the club weekly. This is a great opportunity for them, as it helps them build their skills for when they do get to start playing. |
