| Cherish/Perish the thought | |||||
| I cherish the thought of having one dear Of loving the one I've been with all year I cherish the thought of feeling warm The feeling had before "I" was born But perish the thought of holding one near Yet have a mind filled with just fear They perish the thought of finding me While filling their greed and laughing with glee For I am the man with a torn soul And the duration of the pain has taken it's toll Yet I am the man of respect untold But I can't take steps to be so bold |
