| While Derek insists that Bill was not born on this planet. The truth is he was born in Transylvania in 1967 to a couple of aspiring trapeze artists. His parents were distraught that Bill had no real desire to enter the family business and fled Transylvania in the late 1970's during a period of civil unrest. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Upon arrival in America the young Yabroudy found a nitch and began training for his true love of Sumo. By 1982, due to limitations in size and aversion to sushi, Bill gave up on his dream and took up the sport of cycling. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Bill's strengths include reading a race and climbing. He claims to be shocked that he wins a race "once in a while". Those who have ridden with him on his favorite Tuesday night interval/climbing/endurance deathmarch know that he is more than just a mutant. He is a hard working mutant. This shows on race day and his long list of palmares include three time New England rider of the year in Cat 1 or 2, 10th in the highly regarded Killington Pro/Am, and 1st overall in the Green Mountain Stage Race. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| When not riding, Bill works as a salesman in the food industry and chills out to Blink 182. He sticks to a serious regimen of eating celery sticks and an occassional grape for a treat to keep the weight down. He insists that he has NEVER used liposuction prior to a race in an effort to reduce weight. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| When Bill is not racing he can be found at museums, tall ships, operas, symphonies, and cocktail parties. He likes to race the full calender in order to get out of attending museums, tall ships, operas, symphonies, and cocktail parties. |
