This tutorial is using WebCam 32. You can download it here or on Kazaa.
Once you have installed WebCam 32, open it up and click this button:
Now under FTP Basics:
FTP Server:ftp.domainname.com
FTP User Id:user id
FTP Password:your password
Directory:/public_html or whatever yours is
File name:livecam.jpg
Make sure you don't name ur live cam the same as your cam unless you want your CAM to be live.
Now click this button:
Now in Caption Text put what you want it to say on the live cam image such as online,offline, or whatever you want.
You can pick the caption location,font,colour,etc. Make sure you have caption visible checked.
Now make an html on your site and make sure these things are on the page:
<META HTTP-EQUIV=REFRESH CONTENT="# of seconds it refreshes">
<img src=http://www.geocities.com/mellygurl13/livecam.jpg>
You can add things like aim instant message codes,how many people online,chats,tagboards,etc.
