A long time ago the Curse came to Despair the dark fairy and asked for her help, us fairies are supposed to help anyone that needs it, so she did.. She helped the Curse destroy Midson City! And so, she was banished from her home in the fairy forest, never to return. All of us fairies went our seperete ways, and the beautiful fairy forest was forgotten. I think Lilly the outdoors fairy still lives there... But that is what happend, and the day Despair was banished she told everyone the prophecy.
