| Week 37-The baby is considered full term at this point. She is nearly 14 inches crown to rump and 20 inches in total length. Her weight is about 6.5 pounds. Her main priority now is to put on excess fat. We are getting so anxious to meet baby Haley. I am starting to retain water now. My ankles and feet are beginning to swell. At my DR appointment this week I was 2cm dialated, 50% effaced, and at -1 station. She is getting ready for her big entrance into the world! I gained no weight this week. Week 38-The baby is about 20 inches crown to rump and about 6.8 pounds. She does not move as much as she used to because she is saving her energy for birth by sleeping alot! Well at my DR appointment today I gained 2 pounds in one week for a total of 34 pounds. I am 2 1/2 - 3 cm dialated, 80% effaced, and at 0 station. They cannot believe I am not feeling any contractions yet! Tomorrow I am getting induced and am a little nervous but very excited to meet this little one! Week 39-Never made it this far! . |
