I am MELIZA F. FRIAS, 38 years old, born on July 6, 1966. I graduated Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Lyceum of the Phil in 1987. After my graduation, my father brought my son and me here in Dubai to join my parent and two brothers. My parent are now residing in Abu Dhabi, while me and my son are staying with my two brothers in Dubai.
My first job in Dubai was a draftlady with Dryland Consultants in 1987. It was a great opportunity for I was exposed to several engineering tasks such as irrigation design of parks and open spaces, designing of pipes sizing. For 2 years experiences, I became assistant to the irrigation engineer. I have been with the company for 8 years. I am an approved consultant/supervisor of Dubai Municipality, irrigation department.
Presently, I am working with Moore Stephens as a Market Research/Analyst. Projects under me include feasibility studies, market research and evaluation of properties. Other responsibilities are irrigation design works.
