Fear Not!

Ezekiel 11 vs 6 "Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the coutries, yet will I be to the as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come."

Over the past year conflict has been a big theme in the news, perhaps no more so than in the past, but the September 11th attacks saw a lot of the world in panick. Did you panick with them? I for one have to say I did a little yet more for the people who do not know God and His salvation than for my own safety. This was because I know that "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delievers them." (Psalm 34 vs 7)

You too know that the Lord is "as a little sanctuary" to us or at least I hope you know it. This is why when fear, doubts, tribulations and persucutions plague us we should not fear, because he is our Rock and our Redeemer. (Psalm 19 vs 14).

The Lord Jesus Christ died for us and our sins and now we can "Having....boldness enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus." (Hebrew 10 vs 19) The word 'holiest' means the Holy of Holies the inner sanctuary of the Tabernacle where the Lord resides between the wings of the Cheribim on the Mercy Seat. We can now directly enter into the Sanctuary and speak with and take comfort from the Lord our God when we are troubled.

Fear not, for the Lord is "as a little sanctuary" to us and he will never leave us.
