On June 29, 2006, I got to talk to Mel Peachey on GSN's PlayMania and let me tell you that it was a blast talking to her.
I have been using the free online entry since the middle part or later part of May. The game that was being played was "Mel's Top 5 Celebrity Dream Dates". This was a very great night and best of all, it was Mel's birthday that night.
I used about 7 or 8 entries for this game and got the callback from GSN. When I told them how my name was spelled, they told me to turn the TV down and wait for Mel to say my name. When Mel said my name, I talked to her and asked her how she is doing. I even told her happy birthday since it was Mel's birthday and I told her that she is my favorite PlayMania host.
She thanked me for the birthday greeting and the compliment that she was my favorite PlayMania host. She even told me that I was her favorite "PlayManiac" at this moment. When she said that, I laughed about it but I was happy to talk to her.
Unfortunately, I did not win $100 as I guessed David Beckham and it was not on her list.
I want to say thank you Mel for letting me have the chance to win and I hope to talk to you again very soon.
