Although the bride's friendship with Kelly is fairly new, she is Melissa's closest friend. She lives in Philadelphia and recently graduated from nursing school. She plans to work in Pediatrics. Life has been a little hectic because Kelly is also planning a wedding. Kelly and Melissa's brother Michael are high school sweethearts; they are planning their wedding for February 2004. Kelly is definitely among the sweetest and most caring people in the world and we are really excited to have her as our Maid of Honor. |

Aykut is the groom's one and only sibling. He recently graduated from Gazi University in Turkey with a BA in Journalism. He is currently studying Computer Science at Community College of Philadelphia. He has been coming to the US to visit his brother as often as possible since 1999. He likes to play guitar and spends countless hours working out. It will be an honor for us to have him as our best man. |

Jacki is the bride's cousin and the younger sister of Kim Morris. Jacki is currently working at University of Pennsylvania. She is very intelligent and always succeeds at everything she sets her mind on. She has always been a trustful and valuable friend. She is a dedicated Mom to a beautiful four year old daughter named Cierra Lynn.

Michael is the bride's youngest brother. Melissa and Michael are the last of the Manuel children still living at home. He is the one person who had enough patience to teach Melissa to parallel park. He is a Union Carpenter and has worked repairing various high rises in downtown Philadelphia. Michael missed his calling to be a sports announcer. Ask him any sports trivia question and he will know the answer. He is an excellent baseball and hockey player. Michael is very easy to get along with. Melissa will enjoy living at home with him over the next year. |

Kimmy is the bride's cousin. She grew up a couple blocks away from Melissa. They spent the summer of 1996 together at the shore. During this time they became very close and often argued like sisters. Kim and Melissa remain close no matter how much time passes between seeing each other. Melissa was a proud bridesmaid in Kim's wedding in May 2002. Kim lives in West Chester with her super-fly husband Mike. |

Mark is a younger brother of the bride. He is a Union Carpenter; he recently worked on the completion of the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. He has always been a hard worker and very determined. His main mission in his childhood years was to torment his only sister. Melissa and Mark found more in common as they got older and often went to concerts together. They have seen the Mighty Bosstones and Dave Matthews Band several times over the years. Mark has a huge heart and has really been special to Melissa through every stage of her life.

Ellie is the girlfriend of Melissa's brother Bobby. She works as a Graphic Design Specialist in Media, Pa. Ellie has a very colorful personality and you love her from the minute you meet her. Bobby and Ellie make a great couple because they have such similar personalities. They both love to have fun at all times. Ellie can often been found rooting for the Philadelphia Sixers or hanging out with her new kitties, Sully & Pudgy. |

Bobby is the bride's older brother. He is the father of the flower girl and ring bearer. Bobby has played an important role in Melissa's life, sharing many laughs, secrets, and uncountable hours of ColecoVision. He works as an EMT at a fire company. He has always been a great listener and never fails to say the right thing. He is the person to call if your party ever needs some livening up. He will not allow you to not have fun in his presence, like it or not. |

Gabrielle is the bride's niece. At the time of the wedding, she will be eight years old. Gabrielle and Aunt Melissa share a love of cats, art, & the Sims; they also like to watch Sponge Bob together.

Thom is the bride's cousin. He recently graduated from Philadelphia Biblical College in Langhorne, Pa. He is a talented musician and played bass guitar in a band around the Philadelphia area for several years. Thom and his parents traveled often over the years though he remained close with Melissa and her brothers. Some of Melissa's fondest memories include time spent visiting with Thom and his parents. |
