CLAUDE: Hello, Noel. Get any sleep lately?
NOEL: Ha, ha. I'm laughing.... OK, enough jokes! I really need help here!
There's an animal outside making loud noise!!

CHAPTER 1:
In Linga....
CLAUDE: Phew. Would you look at that. It's getting dark already.
PRECIS: Y'know, Claude, I'm going to miss the long days!
CLAUDE: Well, what can you do about that?
PRECIS: Well, I've been thinking ahead on such things, and I've built a
machine which makes it appear day when it is night, and night when it's day.
CLAUDE: Really?
PRECIS: Yeah! It also states the time two hours ahead of what it really is!
It could be more or less if I decide to reset it, and it also does seasons!
Precis puts on strange looking visors.
PRECIS: Cool, huh?
CLAUDE: Hey, there's Chisato! CHISATO!! OVER HERE!!
CHISATO: Hello, Claude! Precis!
PRECIS: Look! Do you like my machine!?
CHISATO: ... What does it do?
PRECIS: Well, it...
CHISATO: Oh, I have to tell you. Noel is having trouble falling asleep, and
I'm trying to find out why.
CLAUDE: Hmmm....
CHISATO: Oh, what time is it?
PRECIS: It's six P.M..
CHISATO: Oops, I'll be late! See you later, guys!
CLAUDE: ....
CHAPTER 2:
NOEL: ....
A clock ticks.
NOEL: ....
Water drips.
NOEL: ... I can't get to sleep!!
CHISATO: Hello, Noel!
NOEL: Chisato!? What are you doing here? You're two hours early!
CHISATO: Whoops. But why are you trying to go to sleep when it's not nightime
yet?
NOEL: I've been having trouble getting to sleep lately. I think an animal
outside has been causing commotion at night. I'm trying to sleep now because
the animal keeps me awake during the night.
CHISATO: Well, when the night comes, I'll be back to help, OK?
NOEL: Sure, I guess.
Chisato leaves the room, almost tripping on a floorboard.
CHISATO: Whoops!
CHAPTER 3:
RENA: I wonder when they'll be back....
Claude and Precis enter the room.
RENA: Hello, how was your trip?
There was no answer. Precis walked right by Rena and went to bed. Claude stood
by uncomfortably.
RENA: ????
CLAUDE: Oh, Precis is living like it's two hours ahead of what it really is.
RENA: What? Why?
CLAUDE: She does not like the way it's getting dark sooner.
RENA: Kids. Go figure.
CLAUDE: Well, to tell you the truth, you're not much older than her, Rena.
RENA: Well....
Noel enters the room.
CLAUDE: Hello, Noel. Get any sleep lately?
NOEL: Ha, ha. I'm laughing.... OK, enough jokes! I really need help here!
There's an animal outside making loud noise!!
Claude, Rena, and Noel all head outside. There is no animal.
NOEL: There really IS an animal!! I heard it!
CLAUDE and RENA: ....
CHAPTER 4:
NOEL: Chisato, what should I do?
CHISATO: Well, I don't know what we should do. However, I DO know someone who
can be of more help than me....
NOEL: WHO, TELL ME!! I'M REALLY DESPERATE FOR SOME SLEEP!!....
CHISATO: Heh....
Meanwhile....
NOEL: I'm having trouble, see. An animal keeps making noise. I can't sleep.
????: Well, we certainly have a problem here. We need to exterminate it!
NOEL: Really, must we go that far?
????: How does the animal sound?
NOEL: Well, it sounds something like this:
Noel makes a strange sound.
????: Well, it can only be... A BUNNY!!
NOEL: ... bunny?
????: What's wrong?
NOEL: I can't do away with a bunny.
CHISATO: Ah, Noel, are you sure you want to risk getting no sleep?
NOEL: ... OK, FINE!!
Person reveals him (or her) self out of the shadow he (os she) is concealed
under.
OPERA: Excellent.... EXCELLENT!
CHAPTER 5:
CLAUDE: (sleeping)
Clank, ckunk, bang!!
CLAUDE: Huh?....
Bonk, ding!
CLAUDE: Hmmm....
PRECIS: Oh, Claude! Good morning!
CLAUDE: What are you doing?
PRECIS: Oh, just building a new robot.
CLAUDE: At five in the morning?
PRECIS: Oh, no. It's really seven!
CLAUDE: Where's Rena?
PRECIS: Oh, she went shopping. She likes my time better, too.
Meanwhile....
RENA: Hmmm, what to choose, what to choose....
VENDOR: Huh? So early? Sorry, we're still closed. Come back in two hours.

CHAPTER 6:
Later, during the night....

NOEL: Fire when ready.
OPERA: Ready... aim... FIRE!!

A net flew out of the Net Work 3000 and went around the bunny.
NOEL: Woo - hoo! We caught it!
CHISATO: Now what should we do with it?
OPERA: .... I never thought of that?
NOEL: What!? I can't keep this thing, even If I really wanted to!
CHISATO: Let's give it to Rena, then.
OPERA: Why Rena? Would she want it?
NOEL: She really loves animals, like me under normal conditions.
NOEL: Well, let's do it!
CHAPTER 7:
RENA: I think I should just forget going by Precis' time. I don't know how
that girl does it....
CLAUDE: You're telling me....
Noel, Chisato, and Opera enter the room.
NOEL: Rena, we have a present for you!
RENA: What?
OPERA: It's a bunny.
RENA: Aww, how cute! Where did you get it?
CHISATO: This was the bunny keeping Noel awake!
RENA: Oh... that bunny?
NOEL: Yup! And now it's yours!
RENA: Well, seeing the three of you team up on a bunny sting operation is
really strange. At least things can't get any stranger....
Precis enters the room, wearing a heavy winter coat.
CLAUDE: Precis?
PRECIS: C'mon, all of you! What are you doing! The snow's really going to come
down tonight! Hurry up, get your coats on!
RENA: But it's the end of spring....
PRECIS: Not according to my machine....
Scene fades away with everyone centered.
END
RENA: .... (almost asleep)
....
RENA: ....
Bang, bing!
RENA: Doh! It must be that bunny!
Rena gets up and goes into the next room, where the sound is coming from.
PRECIS: Hello, Rena! Oh, I changed my time again, and the bunny likes it, too!
RENA: Not only the bunny is up, but you are also up causing commotion! (cries)
PRECIS and BUNNY: ????
Scene fades, with Precis and the bunny centered. Rena's standing in the
doorway. End.
