If you have not read L.J.'s books and her new short stories, I suggest you do. Visit www.ljanesmith.net . It's not manditory. The Short stories outline the basis of this game.
The bare facts are there are protective circles over areas of the world to protect the masses while the millenium battle is going on, or whatever is going on (new and last book is to be released soon so we'll all see lol) Time is warped in these protective circles though, no one is ageing, not even humans, yet children continue to grow. Virginia being a place where history has been engrained for all species has many circles, one of which contains NIghtsky.
The rules
I'm a creative person and I do not wish to hinder your creativity so they are simple.
1) No power playing with out permission
2)No power tripping. Stay within your species strengths and weaknesses. As for your place in society that is up for discussion with me :)
3)Kill all the Non-main characters your little black hearts desire (lol), with the creator's permission, but don't kill any main characters without an ok from me and the creator. (just to make sure it won't negativly impact the game)
4) Don't kill off any character from the books.
5) I don't care how detailed and such you want to get but in your posts but if it is more then PG just throw a rateing in the subject line, I want any age person to feel welcome and safe here, but I understand most of us are adults.
6) Most important though it has nothing to do with this game DO NOT DISRESPECT YOUR FELLOW RPGERS! THIS INCLUDES OFF LIST HARRASMENT, AND JUNK MAIL. ANY OF THIS AND YOU ARE OFF THE LIST INSTANTLY. This is to be an enjoyable experience not a pain in the tail.
I work on the three warning system. You will be warned 2 times privatly through email, the third time (if its a major thing) and Melesifant or a member of her council will hunt and kill your character. This is just if you do the same thing 3 times, not if it's something little like you forgot your eye color no worries please :). If you commit a Huge infraction and don't fix it (such as shoot lasers out of your eyes) in a timely (in my opinion) manner I'll skip warning 2 and just end that character. If you have 3 characters killed off because of this you will be removed from the game.
