We want to retain our identity in an era of conformity.

Why conform? Why base a lifestyle on what the media suggests is success, beauty, and love?

Embrace diversity, creativity, and self expression by questioning the culture of commercialism.

Professional Mathematics Certification: American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence
Master of Arts in Education
BS in Mechanical Engineering
Previously a Project Engineer for Hughes Aircraft Electronics Corporation
Currently a Mathematics and English Communication Lecturer at MUIC, Salaya, Thailand

Greetings Friends, Visitors and Colleagues!

I am currently a university mathematics and English communication lecturer at Mahidol University International College near Bangkok Thailand. Previously, I was the Academic Director for the RIT/AEC University Lecturer Training Program and was a PhD dissertation and thesis writing lecturer at the Asian Institute of Technology. I have an MA in Education from California State University San Bernardino and have taught at the College of the Desert, Palm Desert, California. In addition, I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have worked as a Project Engineer for Hughes Electronics Corporation. My area of expertise: electronics manufacturing via automation and robotics. I recently completed professional teaching certification in mathematics "April, 2007", and I am currently teaching both mathematics and literature analysis -riding the razor's edge. I believe that life is about challenges, bringing opposites together, and finding commonality in unrelated activities to facilitate lateral thinking.

Part One: Project Engineering and Human Communication

For eight years we worked with robots, automated assembly cells, and computers at Hughes Aircraft. It was challenging, fulfilling work that utilized groundbreaking technology and innovation. We worked with some of the most advanced robots in the world. We received many patents for our work and were leaders in our field. Although I was well established in my mechanical engineering career, I realized that something was missing. Some irresistible force was calling me away from my life of working exclusively with machines. I had mastered the technology that had challenged me for so many years. I realized that a new challenge awaited - becoming adept at human communication. The technology needed to be balanced with humanity, and my personal quest for the integration of the two had begun.

New: Beat Poetry of the Moment-November 2006

Yes, the quest for love that reminds one of a cosmic dog chasing its tail until a retro blur merges black and white into the unknown. The dawn awakens those who have failed to sleep because the swirling cosmos have demanded attention from those aware enough to notice the cosmic symphony that plays above our heads.

With a blink a lifetime passes by like a rose blossom swirling down a stream, caught in the whirlpools, randomly seeking the middle way that guarantees continuous motion and progress towards the roaring waterfall that awaits in the end.

Like a destination that plummets to a different level where one can start anew with new acquaintances, lovers, and soul mates that swirl towards the ever loving ocean that embraces all in the end.

We are caught in the journey, mesmerized by every snag that impedes our progress downstream although our destiny is intertwined with the flow that we are surrounded with and caught up in a wave of time that we cannot resist nor judge in our short trip across the shallows and the deep.

The shore awaits those who wander too far from the path and the mud cannot be too far behind that smothers us and buries us in our roots and feeds the trees that cast shade upon the undulating currents that lead over the horizon to the next phase which we cannot see as we glide along the surface towards the next bend.

Up above the trees there are peaks that stretch towards the heavens that show the pathway of silence and strength. To reach forward to the crystal shadows that conceal another level of understanding, love, and life.

So, I sit in the armchair of routine and try to stand up and break the pattern that leads to stagnation at the shore and into the mud. We can dig and find the skeletons of those ideas that haunted our dreams and made us toss and turn until the dawn.

Somewhere we can find a lasting peace that reminds us of out earliest days when a day was a life and a night a rebirth. We were born again and embraced each dawn as if it were the flash of life that ignited all existence until the next time.

We can't help but question the days where we are questioned and the souls that seem bent on destruction for no good reason as if reason was an ironic blast of fleeting confidence that melted into nothingness from which it came.

Ahh, the retro-romanticism when days were simple and life seemed as manageable as the watering of a golden papaya tree before it was caught in a blizzard and the fruit became frozen in time. We need the dawn that will loosen the frost from our minds and open up a new Renaissance of thought that will create a new garden of Eden for the fleeting moment long enough for the spark to ignite a wildfire that will rage for the rest of our lives.

A Magical Journey: Consider Life's Journey

Life is a magical journey - is it governed by destiny or is it entirely random? There are hidden forces that exist beneath the convincing facade of everyday reality. The realization that there are mystical forces/strings is the first step towards revelation. Reality is composed of the same ethereal matter, vibrating at different frequencies, in an infinite composition. We perceive different vibrations as variations of the same theme - all cosmic notes from the same instrument. The sound of silence is the source of all other sounds. Pure cosmic light is the source of all of the colors of the prism. These are examples of universals - we live in a universe full of them.As members of the human race, we are the source of all of the cultures and languages in the world. We can participate in the development of Global consciousness for the first time in the history of the human race.

A Poem From the Heart

Awaking from the dawn, I saw a vision of an eagle in flight. Soaring free forevermore in a starry, blue-lit night. I watched the human race like a magnificent ant colony - marching and blindly following. Are we not meant to be more than just ourselves - blindly answering a predetermined calling? Can we escape the earth that binds us and soar into the sky stretching our sight? Are we not meant to fly and soar like the eagle rather than toiling our days into night? The dawn receded, and the brilliant light of the sun gently caressed my face. Stretching my wings, I soared around the earth and glimpsed the future of the human race. We are one people - we share this jeweled planet called Earth. We must respect one another and try to understand each other first.
