We went camping with some friends that Jason met in Saudi on the July 4th weekend.  We went up to Denali State Park, about 4 hours away.  The first night we stayed at a camp ground behind a gas station right beside the main highway.  HEY, at least it had plumbing!!  The second night we went down a dirt road  and stayed right beside "Dry Creek".  It was literally dry.  Only problem with this site, was all the sand!!  Kaiya, Amber and Justin were so dirty!  I think they had a blast!!  We decided to go home the next day.  Justin was having a miserable time.  The only time he was happy was when he was in the tent.  Not fun for mommy!

The mosquitoes were also awful.  They are huge.  They ate poor Justin up.  I don't now if you can tell in the pictures of him, but he has huge bites all over his forehead.

On the way home, we decided to drive towards Denali.  It was a beautiful drive.  We were looking for bears.  All we saw was a neat reindeer!

On the way home, again, we came upon a nice looking campground called "Lower Troublesome Creek.  It was so beautiful there.  Justin  was a little bit happier, because he had more room to run around.  He really loved the hammock.  Can't think of the name of it at the moment.  It's too late!!  I think he stayed in there 2 hours on Sunday morning.   We went home that afternoon.  That will be a camping trip to remember!  I hope the next one goes a lot smoother!
