Stella L. Burchard
Stella Leola Burchard, 75, died Jan. 10, 2002 at Three Rivers Healthcare South in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She was born Dec. 5, 1926 in Wardell, Mo., daughter of the late William and Drusilla (Choate) Crutchfield.
Stella married Leslie Burchard July 1, 1946 and he survives, residing in Greenville. She attended Camp Eight General Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by five sons, Larry, Lonnie, Junior Leslie and David Burchard, all of Greenville, Doug Burchard, Rockford, Ill.; three daughters, Donna Haynes, Vickie Moyer, both of Greenville, Beverly James, Imperial; two brothers, Edward Crutchfield, Clubb, Roy Crutchfield, Puxico; one sister, Nellie Faye Long, Greenville; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Jake, Bill, James and Wilbert Crutchfield; two sisters, Roxie Eads, Annie Crutchfield; two grandsons.
The funeral was held Jan. 13 at Ruegg Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Roscoe Gray and Rev. Kenny Burchard officiating. Music was provided by the Camp 8 singers and Laurie Griffin on guitar.
Pallbearers were Wendell Crutchfield, Jessie Crutchfield, Dale Burchard, Wink Crutchfield, Shawn Haynes and Shannon Wren. Honorary pallbearer was Glenn Crutchfield. Burial was in Kime Cemetery.
