Trust in God
He hoisted the sail, and took to sea,
Little did he know, he would be a shipwreckie
All alone with no one in sight,
All alone without hope of the light.
Could he survive the terrible conditions,
Or would he be the victim of the ghastly mortician.
That right there is how I feel inside,
This right here is my heart I hide.
It is bruised and battered beyond recognition,
But I swear to the high heavens, I will not give up on my mission.
For if I were to, that would kill me anyway,
So I�ll brave the storm, and find another way.
Because my motto was always never give up,
Things don�t look good now, but they�ll start to look up.
And even if they don�t, it is better to have loved and lost,
I truly believe this, no matter what the cost.
Whether it be my sanity or my pride,
Even my vanity, I will let it all ride.
Because I love her with all my heart,
And the worst thing for me to do is picture us apart.
For I don�t think I could live without my love,
If she isn�t coming with me, just pull the plug.
I�d rather be dead, and feel no more of this pain,
Than to bare it one more day, I�d rather be slain.
For those who don�t understand, I don�t expect you to,
Just know that I�m hurt, and that one day you can be too.
All it takes is your soul mate to say,
I don�t want to speak to you, have a nice day.
And I would never wish this feeling upon anyone, not even my enemy,
For it is a horrible feeling, for which there is no remedy.
So take heed, and take seriously my warning,
You never know, one day it may be you doing the mourning.
That�s the one messed up part about life that isn�t fair,
You never know what�ll happen, everything is up in the air.
It is a little joke from god to you,
It is his way of teaching, it is what he likes to do.
The most you can do is pray and live a good life,
Oh there�s one more thing, you can slit your wrists with a knife.
Now we all know that�s not the way to go,
That�s the cowards way, who wants to scoop that low?
Just go to sleep and do it all again tomorrow,
And I promise you my brother, god will take away your sorrow.
