ANWAR IBRAHIM, THE MAN.............

Just 4 hours ago, I was browsing through the internet looking for news about the Commonwealth Games 98 in the foreign newspaper.

Instead on simply swallow all the coverage fed by local newspaper, I think it would be more interesting to know what the foriegners think about KL98. Boy am I impressed! To know that KL98 is being air 20 hours a day in Australia and to know that the citizen of Trinidad and Tobago went to hype when Ato Boldon win their first an only gold medal had really make me proud of being Malaysian.

Our very small country had really made it this time and I just can imagine all those critics who previously thrown all the bad news about Malaysia shoved their words down their throat.

Then 1 hour ago NTV7 brought the latest shocking news about Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim being arrested after his supporters almost clash with the FRU on the way to the Prime Minister house. I gasped with horror and saddened by the fact that the politician I used to admire for 16 years choosed to humiliate his own country in order to achieve his dream to be the next Malaysian new Prime Minister.

And for the first time in 16 years, my admiration to him gone forever. I have never choose to be fanatic when it comes to politic. When some people choosed to endow their leader based on character, I always choosed mine based on his intentions and previous achievements only. However I have to admit that in some way, I was swayed by Dato Anwar character.

Being a muslim, no one can deny the attraction he possessed especially when he was seen in TV with `songkok' and `baju melayu'. But even by that, his character has always influenced my vote to him at 10% rate only. The rest 75% based on my assessment on his political agenda and another 15% based on his previous achievements.

I choosed to ignore the `character factor' because I believe that it can be decieving. Al Pacino showed good character while playing mayor in movie but we all knows he was just acting. Michael Douglas deliver an awesome speech in the movie `American President' but we know he fake his character. So in the end, it is all based on intentions.

I used to think that Dato Anwar political agenda is purely honest. I used to think that the main reason why he entered politic is simply because he want to pillar the country's strength and to safeguard the Malaysian interest. Boy am I wrong, this may hard for me to say but I have to admit that Mr Anwar is in fact an opportunist.

Since the day he was sacked, he revealed his true skin to the public and he really made me feels like an idiot after 16 years. After attending one of his gathering, I began to realize who he really is.

Firstly, I know now that he is a liar. He is so good in lying that that he should have won an Oscar for his awesome performances in politic. He admit publicly that he's the one responsible for Zahid's `chronisme and nepotisme issue' during UMNO general assembly. My God where was he then when Zahid was under extreme pressure for his statement? I don't know about you but I think if he really honest in those issue, he should stand up and voice it himself. But he choose to use the `ever eager' young Zahid to become his personal bullet while he sit macho on those UMNO stage next to the Prime Minister. It was truly a classic case of a coward who choosed to risk disposing his own friend while safeguarding his own position. If he can take Zahid Hamidi as a disposible decoy, who knows what else he is willing to dispose.

Secondly. he revealed his true intentions to oust the Prime Minister in the next general election. He said he was planning to challenge PM either by competing for the next UMNO presiden or by challenging PM in parliamentary seat. As previously said by Kassim Ahmad, this man just cannot wait to be the next Prime Minister.

It is awesome that throughout all these years, he referred the Prime Minister as `father'. I think he owed the Prime Minster big time. If not because of Dr Mahathir, he would never made it this far. It is the Prime Minister who was responsible for bringing Dato Seri Anwar into UMNO. It was Dr Mahathir who prepared Dato Seri Anwar to be the next Malaysian leader.

Dr.M had elected Anwar in the most strategic post to enable him to learn how to rule these country. Dato Anwar was previously elected as Education Minister, Finance Minister and later was given 30 days `simulation period' to practice Prime Minister's power (Dr Mahathir took 30 days vacation around the globe and let Anwar be the `Acting prime Minister').

Eventhough the Prime Minister denied being superstitious, people said that Dato Anwar was elected Education Minister and Finance Minister so to follow the tradition of all the previous Prime Minister (Tengku Abdul Rahman, Tun Abdul Razak, Tun Hussien On and Dr Mahathir himself have all in the past became Education and Finance Minister).

So Dato Anwar have every reason in this world to consider the Prime Minister to be his `father'. But the man just couldn't wait to get his turn in natural way. Not only he is willing to dispose his friend, he can even dispose his own father! This man have no loyalty whatsoever! It reminded me of a classic Hollywood Movie Plot where the son couldn't wait to inherite his father wealth, so instead who waiting for his father to pass away, the son decided to kill his own father! I don't know about you but I don't want a man of this kind to be my leader! If he can betray his own father, he surely can betray his own people.

Thirdly, Dato Anwar had announced his intention to bring his followers marching down the road as part of his `reformation' agenda. He challenged the authority to arrest him but in the same time say that if he was to be arrested, his followers will `followed'. It didn't take a genius to know that what he was really planning was actually a riot.

I was there in one of his gathering and I have to tell you, this man really want his followers to riot. People were cheering and shouting and showing their fist during his gathering and you can see fanatism all over their faces. The athmospere smells riot in it and his speeches have hint `violent' written all over in it. I was actually worried with the situation that I had to leave early.

Dato Seri Anwar was planning a riot and he almost done a good job with it. He knows that if he were to induce riot, all that he have to do is to bring a few thousands people down the road an start yelling like a maniac. Public will tempt to be nervous and the authority will have to intervene.

If the police intervene, there are 90% chances that the would be a clash between the authority and the marchers and that would result in riot. Based on what had happened in Indonesia, Phillipine, Thailand, China, Taiwan, Korea, Ireland, and even in United States, the organizers will always start the march and claim it as a `peacefull march', but then things got out of hand and when the police intervene, it would resulted with riot and in the end someone will bleed.

In Indonesia - 150 innocent people got killed. In China, young people were killed in Tiannamen Square. Even in United States buildings were burned. The victim have always been civiliants while the organizer usually will run away and hide or claim innocent when the march which was intended to be peacefull got out of hand. Dato Anwar know this very well. But he is willing to risk it because he was hoping that a riot will topple a government.

So it is amazing to know that not only this man consider his friend and his father as disposible items, he is also willing to dispose human lifes!! And for what?!! So he can be Prime Minister?? How cheap human lifes could be? Now you know, this man is master in politic and when it comes to politic, he played it dirty.

He consider everything disposible - from garbage to human lives - just so he can be the next Malaysian Prime Minister. This man is a liar and have no sense of loyalty. So can we really believe a man of this kind can bring prosperity to his people and his country?! He want us to topple the government based on his `conspiracy theory' but now we also know that this man also conspired to topple the Prime Minister since at least a year ago.

So if the sole purpose of topling the government is because the government are conspirator, then why should we spare Dato Seri Anwar since he has already confessed to be a `master conspirator' too? How about it? Do you want to wipe every conspirator in this country? Who knows you might even be the next Mulder or Scully.

Lastly, I want to bring your attention to the most hideous plan I've ever seen. Dato Seri Anwar said he was planning to held the biggest gathering in KL and then march to claim the Prime Minister resignation. And he said during conference that he was planning to do this on tomorrow Monday night - the exact night during The Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony.

This is the sickest plan I've ever heard and that prooves that this man is really sick. Why this Monday night and not any other night? Simple, because on Monday night 70 countries will have their eyes on us.

The success of the Opening Ceremony had created much hype among the Commonwealth community. The world have predicted the Commonwealth Game to be as dull as the Asean Game.

Even since a year ago, there was much negative reports about our Commonwealth Games - ranging from the report on haze, water problem, wet spell (rain), economic turnmoil, public hostility towards foreigners, biase, poor facilities and the latest warning is riot.

If you have friends who read foreign newspaper or frequently browsed the foreign online reports in the internet, then they'll corfirm this fact. There were reports predicting Malaysian hostility towards foreigners following the blame on foreign speculators role in Asia worst economic downturn.

These report had contribute to the lacking of international superstars in sport field. But luckily SUKOM 98 manage to handle the game beautifully.

The Opening Ceremony is a huge blow and Malaysia succesfully kicked the critics butts away. Not enough with the Opening Ceremony, SUKOM 98 warned the world that the Closing Ceremony is even better.

So based on ticket price (The Closing Ceremony's ticket is actually more expensive than ticket for the Opening Ceremony), we can expect a grand closing ceremony which will close the critics mouth forever. The hype had caused the broadcasting company rushing their team to cover the ceremony and 70 countries will view the ceremony via live satellite.

So if you are a politician with personal agenda, and you want to topple government by force, and you want international coverage if a riot ever take place, which time is better for you than during the closing ceremony!

Who cares about the country's wrecking image, who cares if it would took years for the world to trust our nation again, who cares if the economy go down the toilet because international confidence fade away, and who cares if some people got killed in front of international cameras.

Someone must achive his dream to be the Next Prime Minister and that someone is Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
