Girls all over the place would comment on his hair most saying things like, "Drew!!! I love your hair!" "It looks so hot!" and even a girl whom he didn't even know coming up to him and saying "I like your hair" then shaking his hand.
But a small handful of other girls would say things like, "Drew, you really should cut it." or "AAA! You're hair is taking over your head!"
Most adults didn't like it at all, others really didnt care. His mother hated it, his grandmother would rather it be shorter, but since he wasn't going to cut it bought him hair products.
Drew eventually decided after much deep thought about what he should do he decided that he'd go to freshmen orientation at his school to give his friends a look at his hair. Then after they'd had a chance to see it he'd finally get it cut.
The afternoon came. He sat waiting for his mom to get home... dreading the moment that he'd have to say goodbye to his beloved friend, the hair. He announced to a few of his friends that he was getting it cut. Then the moment came. His mom was honking the car horn for him to come out to go to get it cut.
Drew walked out and climbed into the car. He was going to get it cut. It would be gone. He looked into the mirror so he could see it for one last time, and then they drove away.
