OUR FURRY FRIENDS
A new addition to the family- Bess a 14 year old Percheron cross mare.  She belonged to a friend of mine, Tom Maher and hasn't' really been started yet- A challenge for Melanie!
From baby to gangly teenager!
Keesu has grown up to be a lovely (but smart) young horse.  He is not at all scared of people, which means that he needs to be treated with firmness so he doesn't get cheeky.  At 2 years old, Keesu has had his first 4 rides.  Nothing too active, just getting used to the weight of the saddle and a bit more discipline.
Effy thinks it's great that Keesu is now doing some work as it deflects interest from HER.  She is quite happy to stand around and watch!

Back to the Home Page!
Inja (which is Zulu for dog).
We have never worked out what Inja is.  A bit of staffy, a bit of blue heeler.  Maybe some roo dog.  Your guess is as good as ours!
You would think that Inja would start to slow down- She is nearly 10 years old.  I guess she has mellowed out in some ways- but she is still the athletic speed demon.
