PILIPINO CULTURAL NIGHT (PCN)
Cal State University, Northridge
FASA
Pilipino Cultural Night or PCN, is an annual event held during the spring semester of the school year. This event is a full theatrical performance including acting, singing, and both contemporary and traditional folk dance in order to express the Filipino and Filipino-American experience. Written, directed, and performed all by FASA members, it is the culmination of months of love and hard work. It is our own, simple way of educating Filipinos, Filipino-Americans, and the other cultures that is found in our community.
We offer PCN free of charge to ensure and encourage education about the Filipino culture as well as giving back to the community what it has given to the organization. We hope that we are able to express our Filipino and Filipino-American culture in a positive and wholesome way that we can be proud of.
