Mr. Andre Lamoureux of Lethbridge, AB, beloved
husband of Roxanna Lamoureux, passed away peacefully
and suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on
October 1, 2018 at the age of 84 years.
Besides his loving wife, Roxanna, Andre is survived
by Sons Jo “Joey” (Jeanne Krebs) Lamoureux and Bryan
(Brittany Smith) Lamoureux; Grandchildren Quinn,
Cade, Abby and Maya; Sisters Pierrette, Clarita and
Michelle; Brothers Jean and Jacque. Andre was also
survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their
families.
Andre was born in St. Marie de Salome, Quebec on
June 4, 1934, to Paul Emile and Jeanne Lamoureux. He
spent his formative years in St. Adele, Quebec.
After graduation, at age 17, he joined the Canadian
Airforce, where he remained until age 21, leaving
with an honorable discharge.
From this time until age 31, he worked and traveled
between Canada and the United States. During this
time, he met and married Roxanna Crowley, in
Lakeworth, Florida. After a three-month courtship
they married on April 23, 1966. This union lasted 52
years and 5 months.
Andre and Roxanna were blessed with two wonderful
sons, Jo (aka Joey) and Bryan.
For Andre’s first 65 years, he resided in and around
the Montreal area, mainly St. Bruno Quebec. Upon
retirement, he and Roxanna moved to Bozeman,
Montana, where they resided until health issues
began to present themselves. Andre then took up
residence in Lethbridge, Alberta until the Lord
called him home. Andre’s favourite things in life
were family, airplanes and making people laugh.
A Memorial Mass will take place in St. Adele Quebec
on Saturday, October 20, 2018 with an interment of
ashes to follow.
