Death Notices (07/16/05)
RANSOM, Patricia Rose (nee Sheen) passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11th, 2005, following a brief illness at the age of eighty-six. Predeceased by her loving husband, Jack; her parents, Rose and Frederick Sheen; her sister, Viola "Toni" (late Harry Croucher); and her youngest brother, Murray (Margaret Lidston). Dear mother of Gail (late Dan DuChene). She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her stepdaughters, Kathy (Jim Lavery) and Sandy (Dave Wakely); her brothers, Leslie (late Jacqueline Meilleur) and Ted (Rita Bowles); many cousins, nieces and nephews, and their respective families. Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and support staff at the Montreal General Hospital for their tender care and devotion. In accordance with Pat's wishes, there will be no funeral. Interment of the ashes and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Montreal General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
