LIONEL ARTHUR FONTAINE

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lionel Fontaine, devoted husband of Marguerite (deceased), and loving father of Micheline, on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Taché Centre, at the age of 83 years.

Lionel was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Clothilde (nee Muloin), and brothers Raymond and Lucien. He is survived by his sisters; Marie-Jeanne Tellier, Agnes Joyal, Germaine Bruneau, Eva Berthelette, Irene (Olivier) Meilleur, and Alice L'heureux, as well as by sisters-in-law Doris (Raymond) Fontaine, and Laurette (Lucien) Fontaine, and his nieces and nephews. Dad was a member of the International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Iron Workers, Local 728 for 33 years prior to his retirement in 1986.

The family is forever grateful for the support and genuine care from all the staff members of 3ABC at Taché Centre, and support workers, as well as the homecare providers who were like a second family to him, and last but not least all the friends who have supported Lionel throughout his illness.
