Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, July 29, 2003. Joseph Olivier Aurel Chenier of Alexandria; age 72 years. Beloved husband of Noella Chenier (nee Paquette).

Dear father of Colette (Mrs. Denis Carbert) of Honolulu, Hawaii, Carole (Mrs. Louis Lavigne) of Ste. Anne de Prescott, Richard Chenier of Montreal, Pierre Chenier (Lise) of Alexandria and Julie Chenier-Decoeur of L’Orignal. Loving grandfather of Justin, Karine, Christian, Patrick and Zacharie. Dear son of the late Joseph Chenier and the late Maria Meilleur. Dear brother of Mrs. Rita Jeaurond and Mrs. Aline Menard both of Alexandria. Predeceased by his brother, Raymond Chenier and infant brother, Fernand Chenier.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Eglise Sacre-Coeur, Alexandria, on Saturday, August 2, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Sacre-Coeur Parish Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

As a memorial to Aurel, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
