Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 10, 2003. Rita Jeaurond (nee Chenier) of Alexandria; age 84 years.

Beloved wife of the late William Jeaurond. Loving and cherished mother of Jean-Yves (Louise) of Williamstown, Maurice (Liliane) of Alexandria, Ernest (Diane) of Ile Bizard, P.Q., Ronald (Claudette) of Monkland, Jacques (Carmen) of Alexandria, Roger (Cynthia) of Maxville, Marielle Brunet (Raymond), Gabriel (Johanne), Richard (Sylvie) and Pierre (Natalie) all of Alexandria. Mrs. Jeaurond is survived by 28 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Joseph Chenier and the late Maria Meilleur. Dear sister of Mrs. Aline Menard and sister-in-law of Mrs. Noella Chenier both of Alexandria. Predeceased by her brothers, Raymond Chenier (Adrienne) and Aurel Chenier and infant brother, Fernand Chenier.

on Monday, October 13, 2003 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Eglise du Sacre-Coeur on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.

As a memorial to Rita, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
