Elizabeth Morissette
(née Gervais)
1918 - 2000

Peacefully, on Thursday, February 24, 2000 at Foyer Valade, Elizabeth, aged 82, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away. She was predeceased by her husband Armand in 1983, daughter Aurise in 1985, grandson Roger in 1964, great-grandson David in 1987, and several sisters and brothers.

Mom will be sadly missed by her children; Laura (Aime) Meilleur, Armande (Aurel) Berard, Rheal (Rita) Morissette, Beatrice (Jed) Mendella, Roger (Linda) Morissette and son-in-law Lloyd Pommer. She also leaves to cherish her memory, 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, one sister Albertine and two brothers, Leo and Olivier.

Mom spent many years in Powerview, MB where, along with dad, raised her family. Since 1994, she resided at Foyer Valade, where she took great joy in all activities, programs and special events. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to all the warm caring staff at Foyer Valade, especially Helen, Monique, Carmelle and Lise.

Viewing will be held at 10:30 a.m. followed by funeral service on Monday, February 28 at Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald Street, presided by Father Ron Leger, C.S.V. Interment to follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
