Corrinne
Mary Meilleur, 67, of Colchester, died suddenly during recovery from
heart surgery July 15, 2011, in Fletcher Allen Health Care of
Burlington. She was born in St. Albans in 1944, the daughter of Herman
Houle and Bertha Picard.
She graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1963. She worked at I.B.M.
where she met Andrew Meilleur, whom she married in 1973. She loved to
sing in Our Lady of Grace Church folk group, take walks and spend time
with her husband and son by going to movies, plays and concerts.
Corrinne held an unconditional love for many people.
Besides her spouse, she leaves her son, Buddy Andrew Meilleur ; and her
brothers and sisters, Dorothy Sylbert, Frank and Sandra Houle and
Albert and Nancy Houle of Charleston, S.C., Roch and Diane Houle of Los
Angeles, Calif., Louis and Cynthia Houle of Colchester, Monica Owens of
Winooski, Annette Rickabough of Browns Mills, N.J., Constance (her
twin) and David O'Connell of St. Albans, Paul and Christine Houle of
Bakersfield and Herman J. Houle, who predeceased her, and his wife,
Jane Houle, of Massachusetts.
A Funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady of Grace Church, Colchester on
Friday, July 22, 2011, at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in Holy Family
Cemetery, Essex Junction at the convenience of the family. Per
Corrinne's wish, there will be no visiting hours. Arrangements are in
the care of Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, Essex Junction.
