Panel Number: Historical The cemetery contains just under 80 burials of the Information: 1939-1945 War, of whom all were airmen and the majority belonged to the Royal Canadian Air Force. Many of the Canadian airmen buried here were stationed at Dishforth, the airfield having been used by No. 6 (R.C.A.F.) Bomber Group. All the war graves are grouped together, 62 constituting a War Graves Plot on the right of the entrance, bordering the central path, and the remainder forming another group beside the boundary fence on the left hand side. The central feature of the cemetery is the Cross of Sacrifice which stands near the entrance, to the left of the main path.
