BERNIER
It is
with the deepest
sorrow that we announce the peaceful
passing of our dearly beloved wife,
mother, grandmother and great-grandmother,
Germaine Blanche Bernier on Tuesday,
January 9, 1990.
Born in
The Pas, Man. August
20, 1917, she will be sadly missed by her
loving husband Osias ; sons, Dennis and
Marcel, both of British Columbia
; sons, Philip, Claude, Norman and Perry,
all of Winnipeg. She is also survived by
her daughter, Florence, Alice and
Louise, all of Winnipeg ; also a daughter
Carole of The Pas and Doreen of Ontario.
Germaine was predeceased by her
son Raymond ; grandson Morris ; two
sisters, Simone and Yvette, all of
Winnipeg. Germaine is also survived by 36
grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren.
She will
always be fondly
remembered and sadly missed by those who
knew and loved her.
Funeral
services will be
held on Saturday, January 13 at 1:00 p.m.
at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage
Ave. Cremation to follow.
In lieu
of flowers, if
friends so choose, donations may be made
in her memory to the Canadian Heart
Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., R3B 2H8
or to the Stroke Association of Manitoba,
213-93 Lombard Ave., R3B 3B1.

Peacefully
after a brief
illness, on Wednesday, July 5, 1995, at
the Riverview Health Centre, Osias "Frank"
Bernier of Winnipeg passed away at the age
of 84
years.
Frank
was an iron worker
for many years, having to take early
retirement.
Frank
leaves to mourn his
son Dennis, son Philip and wife Valerie,
son Marcel and wife Ellamay, daughter
Florence and husband Derek, daughter
Alice, son Claude
and Glenda, daughter Louise and husband
Bill, daughter Carole, son Norman and wife
Diane, daughter
Doreen
and husband Sean, son Perry and wife Demi.
Also left to mourn are 38 grandchildren
and 16 great-grandchildren.
Frank
was predeceased by
all his brothers and sisters. He was also
predeceased by his beloved wife Germaine
in 1990, and one son, Raymond, in 1976.
The
family would like to
express a very special thank you to Glenda
Goodman for all the loving care she gave
Frank. Also thanks to Barb Bell from
Homecare
and the staff of the Riverview Health
Centre.

Boniface Hospital, Mr. Raymond
Olivier Bernier aged 29 years, dearley beloved
son of Osias and Germaine
Bernier of 389 Roseberry St., Winnipeg.
Beside his parents, Ray is survived by : his
daughters, Kimberley and Tina of Victoria,
B.C. ; his fiancee, Karen Sancan of Winnipeg ;
six brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bernier, Mr.
and Mrs. Phillip Bernier, Mr. and Mrs. Claude
Bernier, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bernier, Perry
Bernier, all of Winnipeg ; also Mr. and Mrs.
Marcel Bernier of Pritchard, B.C. ; five
sisters, Mr. and Mrs. D. Rowe (Florence), Mrs.
B. Clow (Alice), Mr. and Mrs. B. Kirton
(Louise), Mr. and Mrs. H. Matheson (Carole),
Miss Doreen Bernier, all of Winnipeg ; also
several aunts, oncles, nieces, nephews and
beloved friends.
Prayers will be said Thursday, January 22 at
8:00 p.m. in the St. Charles
R.C. Church, 310 St. Charles St., Assiniboia.
Funeral mass will be held Friday, January 23
at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Charles R.C. Church,
interment to follow in the Assumption
Cemetery.
