Let me introduce myself. My name is Christopher Alastar Walker, and I work as a publicist for an outstanding wage at a company I will not disclose here. I am currently working on a large project that requires my full attention. But to my dismay, my working hours are a toll on me. You may not know, or perhaps you do, but the life of a businessman is a tiresome one.A small detail about me? Unlike many of my colleagues, I was raised in the suburbs, so my ideals are particularly alien to most of them in the workplace. It surprises them actually, to think that a suburban man is able to keep up with the tenacity of city life. I only shrug this from my shoulders. It does not bother me at all. I kind of pride myself that I was a suburban man.
Family
I had a family that worked tirelessly when I was a child. I would imagine that is where I adopted my ideals from. But it has been too long since I've visited my parents' resting place. There seems to be no time for me to see them at all nowadays. Although I do feel a certain guilt for not sharing my life with them, the time I have on my hands drain my efforts to see them.Honestly, I have not seen much of my family as of late. My uncle, Graham Quinn, is probably enjoying his retirement in our old family home -- a home I had lived in for the past fifteen years of my life. I have not visited him for quite some time now. My reasons are self-explanatory. But I live the life I had chosen for myself. I know he understands that.
Perhaps it would be wise to mention, that I do have siblings. By the way I speak, I sound as if I was an only child. That is not true. I have a brother -- an identical brother no less. Surprising, is it not? But because of our differences, we had not spoken for quite some time. How ironic that though we look-alike, we have certain contradictions in our nature. He just does not understand the type of life I live, and the problems he had caused me. My uncle speaks fondly of him when I make a phone call, but I still will not forgive him for what he had almost done to destroy my career.
Colleagues
My workplace can be heavy sometimes, especially during peak seasons. Many a time the office is filled with the raucous footsteps and voices of my colleagues, with the ringing of telephone calls roaring in the office. His Clients
I would not be so modest to talk about the clientele I receive. But I assure you that they are all satisfied with the time and effort I put in for their untimely successes. Many a day I would work tirelessly to match and outwit their expectations. The long hours I slave over for themI am also an engaged man, a fiance to a wonderful woman for the past year.
