| The Book of OMEN is similar to the bible of Christianity or various other riligious documents to their respective religions. Though it isn't an actual book in any of the realms, it is the ideas and teachings of OMEN. OMEN's teachings are all about finding your purpose in your life but it gives no hints as to how this must be done. The journey of finding out this is what he truly desires for those who follow this ideal to experience. This journey usually lasts the lifetime of the beings but that is only because no one had actually completed it. But then again, there is no knowledge as to what may happen to those who actually acheive the task of finding their purpose. The only examples that exist are the Avatars of Essence. These 8 (and more later) beings had learned about their purpose when they were given a purpose by one of the 8 (more later) Essences. But back to the Book, most of it's knowledge had been passed on by mouth so each generation had a chance for miss-interpretation and loss of information. This had caused some gaps to appear in the fundamentals of the belief that OMEN had created the realms. Many results were the complete loss of the knowledge as to OMEN's name, the fact that other realms exist, and sometimes even the knowledge of the Essences existance. (Makes you wonder what they thought they were worshipping?) Otherwise, the 'Book' also states how OMEN created the realms, the humans and the Essences, as well as the reason for their existance. Most of that had been lost over time but the most intellectual and earliest to advance their technology managed to record this information which had been supplied to them by the first Avatar, The ArchAngel Raphael. (Again, though he is called an angel and has a stereotypical christian angel like appearance, he is not related to any religion existing in our world. In addition, the belief of angels and the higher ranked ArchAngels are actually listed as more a mythological creatures than religious beings.) Of these well developed societies, the main two were the Angels created by Lumirei (An Essence), and the Demons (Again, not related to religions existing in our world although they may appear like several Demons which exist in various religions in our world.) which were created by Yajurei (basically, any capitalized word ending in -rei is most likely reffering to one of the Essences). These two societies kept record of these facts but even some information had been lost from both sides archives due to various reasons. Most other societies remained ignorant to all of this information but several kept up with the beliefs presented. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
