Chapters 20-23
These chapters start out when Jonas is crying and wailing on the bed in the annex room.I don't blame him! He just saw his dad kill his pour innocent baby! If somebody did that in my family, I wouldn't even be able to look at them! But in my opinion, the only reason that he didn't want to go home is that he would probally yell at his dad for what he did. I would do that, too. But the only problem is he can't discuss his training. If you ask me, Jonas is really brave!
It don't understand! Why does Jonas have to go on a journey to Elsewhere? I wouldn't want to go. I would have to leave behind all of my friends and family! That's just something I couldn't do. When I first read this, so many questions came to my head: Does Jonas have a choice if he want to do this or not? Does Jonas want to frighten the community by making them think that all of the memories were released? Is it okay with him that the entire community will think that he was lost in the river? How long would it take for him to get to Elsewhere? Will he experience things that he only knows from the memories? Then I realized that it was his destiny! I mean, of course he experienced new things. But who knows what will happen next?! I think that there should be a sequel to this book.
