We know that you and your families are very excited and a little anxious about your upcoming trip to America. As your teacher coordinators, we want help you feel comfortable, informed, and safe as you prepare for your homestay.
Traveling to another country can make you feel anxious, but we do not want you to be nervous or scared as you prepare for the homestay. Please look at all the parts of the "For Students" section of this webpage. We have put up as much information as we can to help you prepare for your trip to America.
Also, this website will have another function once the homestay begins. Your parents, family and friends will want to know what are doing in America! This website will be updated daily with pictures and short stories about your activites. However, your privacy is very, very important to us. We will not publish close up pictures of your face, only far away or sideways pictures. Also, we will not state your name, only your initials. We want you and your family to feel that your privacy has not been violated.
We are looking forward to meeting you this summer! If you have any questions, please contact us. If you do not have any questions, please contact us anyway and introduce yourself! We want to help you make as many wonderful memories as possible, and it starts now. Please tell your parents that we will take very good care of you while you are here! We will be waiting to greet you with open arms at the airport on July 20th!
