Looking for support for the long road a head for old fashion way to lose weight- decipline :( I didn't have trouble keeping it off until age of 42. Now at 48 I'm 205lbs and feel terrible. @ 5'3" I wear size 18-20 used to be 8-9. I've tried everything, except persistant decipline over a long enough period of time(goal 8 mon)I start today. I asked a few years ago if my husband would pay for the sugery but it's too expensive and no ins. I hope you do well. You are a very pretty young lady. You'll have a whole new world open up to you. I was fat as a child until 10th grade. (stole my moms diet pills) Kept it off with diet and excercize until age 42. (thryoid problems) So, I well know what it's like to be suddenly be excepted socially. Men come out of the wood work- watch out! Some good -some really bad! Be amotionally prepared for the change. It'll be like you stepped into someone else's shoes suddenly. I had good friends that gave me warnings- about mostly men. I didn't mentally change enough to really believing I was desirable to men. I thought they were just 'being nice' (something I wasn't used to) so I'd get myself into upsetting situations for a while until I learned I couldn't 'BE NICE' to everyone. That's why pretty girls learn to be a bitch, toward some men. Self preservation I think! Read books on self esteem, social interaction type education. Love, sex and relationships. The more your prepared the easier your transition. Unfortunatly, we live in a world against fat. My husband is uncomfortable to go out with me, he feels it when he's with me. He's not over weight.(the women look at him like 'why are you with her? He's good looking) We've been married for 28 yrs. and going on forever. (religon incommon) THIN IS WONDERFUL AND TASTES BETTER THAN SUGAR Best to you in health and love.....Leslie |
