Mary-Kate
and Ashley Olsen were born on 13 June 1986 to mother Jarnie Olsen and David
Olsen. They grew up in Los Angeles, Sherman Oaks, together with older brother
Trent and younger sister Lizzie. Jarnie and Dave Olsen divorced in 1994 and
one and a half year later
Mary-Kate owns a horse and a pony in a stable near their fathers house she takes
riding lessons every sunday and she goes out for rides as often as she can.
Sometimes with her friend Briana and sometimes alone. Ashley and Lizzie come
along sometimes but they are not as intrested in horses as Mary-Kate is. Ashley
has her own dog named Lucy it is a Scottish rase. The familys other dogs are
Mickey, Bismarck, and Jessica.
Ashley loves to dance and she goes for lessons as often as she can. Her favourite
dance is probably showdance. When she was younger she also did ballet but she
really hasn't got that much time for it anymore. Ashley's best friend is Madison
who will also attend the same highschool as the twins this year. When the twins
go out, which they love to do very much, they try to keep themself separate
from each other with their friends and they also go out in a big group of friends
to get protection if something would happend. They are never alone together
because that would make to much attention and they just want people to believe
they are normal girls out dancing with their friends. Which they are, really!
Mary-Kate and Ashley have no boyfriends at the time. But they had a couple of
times, but nothing serious. They do both have many friends who are boys, though!
Ashley and Mary-Kate loves to go on cruises with their fans. Their fans are
really nice to them and really carefully. They do really like when people just
talk normal to them and not giving them more attention than anyone else. In
the family nobody treat Mary-Kate and Ashley different. "They are just normal
big sisters" , says Lizzie who is use to se Mary-Kate and Ashley signing autographs
and dancing infront of fans and seeing so many flashes. The twins and their
sister and brother fights over the remot control and clothes and do anything
a normal family would do. They cook sometimes and do the dishes after dinner.
"But we do alot of fun too, unregulair to others", says Lizzie. The family get
to travel alot. A couple of months ago they got to see Australia. And the twins
got to bring their friends to Paris and Hawaii. The whole family have been is
Sweden and taking a cruise in the Baltic sea. They do cruises in the Carribean
and even Alaska. What's coming next is London. The twins look really forward
to that.
