Since the beginning of time, music has been an important part of
life and living. It is constantly changing sound and form even as you read
this. The Beatles are just one example of a group who has changed music
for the better. As with everything in life, the actions of one influence
the actions of another. This is especially true with music, and the
Beatles. One can only wonder what music would sound like today if they had
never existed.
Beginning in July 1957 when John Lennon was first introduced to
Paul McCartney and ending in April of 1970, the Beatles took the world on
a musical joyride through unknown territories of sound and rhythm. Their
constant success gave them the freedom to express themselves freely in
whatever they wanted to do. They claim that their experimentation with
drugs brought them to different levels of thinking thus, influencing their
