Is there something you would like to say to someone regarding your loss, that they just don't understand, do you want to make them understand? Perhaps you do not know how to express yourself or what you have to say may be inappropriate or taken out of context.

Unresolved issues if not resolved will eat away at our core. The people we have issues with or are at odds with, consume our energy which could be better spent resolving our grief issues. How do we release ourselves from the grip of these emotions?

Write them a letter. An unsent letter helps us to express our feelings in a safe environment. You can write to anyone who you feel that you need to.

You may wish to write to your mother to express feelings and emotions about how she has or has not supported you during your loss. You may want to write to someone who has been a comfort to you or you may want to write a letter to your child.

Writing an unsent letter lets us say exactly how we feel without having to communicate directly with the person. Who knows, writing an unsent letter may help you to resolve some issues.

Write an unsent letter to someone of significance in your life.
