Here is a story that features the weather, the accent, and a pub: My brother Chris and I were relieving ourselves in the loo of a pub in Killarney, and I was bemoaning the amount of rain. An Irish fellow next to me looked over. With a twinkle in his eye, a smile upon his face, and a Guinness in his free hand, he says, "Aye, it 'tis rainin' a good bit. But if ya woulda phoned and let us know that you were comin', we could have fixed it for ya, and delivered some nice sunshine."
Renting a fine automobile, we toured a lot of the beautiful countryside and took in famed attractions (seen exclusively on this website).
