| During the summer of 1999, following high school graduation, I traveled to Europe with Carrie, my best friend from KUA, to visit Anna and Julia, our best German friends who were with us there our junior year. We spent the first week in Anna's hometown of Wuppertal, then visited Julia's town of Dusseldorf before heading to Paris for four days. What a wonderful vacation! (and graduation present!)
