Hi. I'm Megan's Mom (Sarah)& we live in Kentucky.

I'm a 36 year old single Mom to THE most wonderful blessing God ever gave-my Daughter, 5 year old Megan, whom I Homeschool, she is very bright, smart, out going and has a high IQ.
We use Sonlight curriculum, Ironic since the sun makes her sick LOL.

Megan has many serious health problems, including a very rare condition called EPP, it is a type of Porphyria.
This is an enzyme that lives in the bone marrow and spills into the blood stream and causes organ damage to the Liver, Gall Bladder, and Spleen, and will cause her to have Liver failure in time, and because it mixes with the oxygen in the blood when the sun light hits her skin it causes her skin to turn red, swell up, and sometimes blisters and bleeds, and it stings and hurts so badly that im told it feels like a million hot pins sticking in your skin.

So Megan is not able to go out side and play because of this.

This condition also causes other things like a weak immune system, and becasue the enzyme is in the blood if she gets a cut it has to be covered immediately because the light will burn her insides like a microwave does meat, so if she ever needed surgery they would have to cover the O.R. lights with a special tint to prevent further damage to her insides.

Megan is a brave, sweet natured Little Girl, though she does not understand why things are so different for her than for other Children.

Megan's favorite thing to do is draw, and she wants to sell her drawings! LOL.. she is so cute.. she is 5yrs old you know, but she draws really well, as you can see some of her drawings are on here.
