Tears of Ice

Her ghostly scream pierces the silence of the night

But there is nobody there to hear her

Her echo calls back to her

Taunting her, she can never escape

Her tears freeze as they fall in the cold of the air

A shattering sound as they hit the ground

Stuck in a place so cold that her fate is sealed

Ice so solid no mortal hands could shatter

Time seemed as frozen as she was

But the harsh reality was that time was endless

She gives up the fight, and lets her destiny win

And she drifts off into the darkness that has taken her within.
