Torn apart from a friend
Our friendship was long but it had to end
Stupid things like popularity tore us apart,
Not right away, but slowly, would our friendship depart,
We used to talk all the time,
I thought our friendship was in our prime,
But of course there was one day you told a joke,
And that is when our friendship broke,
I knew things would never be the same,
But I guess neither one of us can take the blame,
I should have moved on with you,
In the sky I should have flew,
But instead I was left behind with the rest,
And to think this friendship was at its best,
Away we have drifted from each other,
Before you used to be like my brother,
But since this friendship has to die,
I guess its time to say goodbye.
