SPEED UP WITH AN MVS ROM DRIVE !!!

The MVDISK series of low cost and easy to program solid state drives look
exactly like a disk to the software but DOS and programs are stored in
EPROM or FLASH. In environments where mechanical drives cause reliability
problems an MVDISK is the perfect solution. No moving parts! Development
systems and test stations which need to be constantly rebooted can benefit
from the speed of a ROM drive. Other advantages include copy protection
from software piracy and 100% immunity to viruses. Far more secure than
other solid state disk drives.

The MVDISK is an easy way to convert a PC motherboard into an embedded
controller. Using the newer "baby" size motherboard with a small
right angle adapter (BP4) allows the cards to lie flat resulting in
a very compact unit. This makes it feasible to use inexpensive but
powerful tools like Quick Basic or Turbo C for dedicated applications.

256k, 2.88m, and 16m sizes are available. The MVDISK1 is a 1/4 slot
lo-profile card that uses a 27020 type IC. The MVDISK2 is half-slot
low-profile and accepts 27020-040. The MVDISK3 is half-slot full-height
and uses 27020-27080 type. With EPROMs the data image is simply
transferred from disk using any programmer. The MVS programmer (MVPROM) is
more convenient since image files are not involved. If FLASH chips are
used then no programmer or eraser are required.

Up to four MVDISKs can be installed per computer. A 16k footprint in the
PC ROM area means no compatibility problems. No RAM or IRQs are used and
special device drivers are not needed. Includes easy to follow,
non-technical, instructions.

                         LIMITED WARRANTY

MVS will repair free of charge product suffering from manufacturing defects
for a period of 5 years after shipping. This will be done only if it has
been determined by MVS that the product has not been misused (improper
voltages, physical alteration, etc.). Otherwise a minimum service charge
is required. In either case it is necessary to contact MVS for a Returned
Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping the unit.
