I had finally got to the estate and went through the gates. I got to the door and rang the bell, Colins opened the door,
" Good to see you again Ivan, please come in," Colins said. Colins was a very friendly fellow, a white mustache, bald, circular glasses, wearing a black butler suit, he was a good friend of my uncle. I entered the mansion, Colins directed me to the living room. There was a figure at the fireplace, at first I thought it was my uncle Jorge but as I got closer I recognized who it actually was.
"Jessica, what are you doing here," I said.
"Well hello Ivan, I see your glad to see me," Jessica said.
" No it's not that, it just seems a little odd," I said.
" Forget Ivan, there's something I have to tell you, I'm your uncles lawyer, your uncle died of a heart attack at eleven thirty five this morning at Chicago county hospital,"
"Wow, a heart attack, I told him he should take care of himself," I sad as careless as possible. I can't believe he died, now I'm a twenty years old man without any family, that's just great.
" That's not the only reason I called you here, your uncle's will says that you are the heir of his entire state and his four billion dollar fourtune," Jessica said. I was awestroke, I knew my uncle was rich but four billion dollars.
"Well, that's unfortunate," I said trying to hold my excitement, my uncle was deed but four billion dollars.
" Ivan if I may intervene," Colins said.
" Of course Colins," I said.
" Your uncle had been working on something very large, if you may follow me," Colins said.
He moved towards this gold framed mirror, he sung the mirror, it was a door, it led to a winding staircase, we went down it, when we got to the bottom I saw it, it was a corridor full of artillery, it was huge, the size of a stadium.
"Wow this is huge," I said.
"This isn't what I was goint to show you," said Colins.
We kept walking until I saw it, it was massive, a ten story robot, it had four story legs, four story chest and a two story head. it had massive arms with holes in the palms of its hands, what looked like a sword hilt in the back and two bright blue eyes, it was a brass colored.
" This is a megabot, it weighs three hundred megatons, it has lazers in the eyes, machine guns in the hands and a six food sword, this thing could level a city in thirty minutes, Ivan this is the manual for the megabot," Colins said, he handed me a book.
" Wow this thing is massive, I just, I mean wow," Jessica said.
" Why would my uncle need something so destructive," I said.
" You'll learn when the time comes, please read the manual very carefuly," Colins said. We went back up but through an elevator,"
"Well I guess I better be looking for a new job," said Colins.
"No you won't, you can stay here with double your salary," I said.
"Thank you sir," Colins said.
" Jessica, do you need a ride home," I asked.
"Why yes I do, I need to take some of these files," Jessica said.
We headed towards my car with the boxes of files, Jessica was about to open the trunk.
"Don't touch that," I said.
" Ok, don't get so upset," Jessica said. We put the boxes into the backseat, got on and drove on.
The streets were kind of lonely, it was seven o'clock at night. Suddenly this blue car started following us, the driver started shooting at us.
" Ivan someone is shooting at us!" Jessica said franticaly.
"Get down, now you'll know what's inmy trunk!" I said. I pulled the open trunk button, the trunk door flew open, a large circular machine gun pop up from the trunk. I grabbed a lever and started firing at the blue car, I hit the engine, the blue car went spinning, bursting into flames.
" What the hell was that about," Jessica said.
" I don't know, but I think it might be about the megabot," I said. What was going on, me finding Jessica, my uncle dieng, the megabot and now this. We continued driving until we got to Jessicas's appartment. I headed back towards the estate wanting answers like never before.
